The academic mission of the Center is to foster graduate and post-graduate training. This mission is being achieved through seminar series, retreats, interactions between individual center members and research work on collaborative grants.

The Center for Environmental Health is developing training programs to equip individual, pre- and post- doctoral students with the knowledge to integrate environmental and health issues.  The center will offer undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate training. This opportunity will allow students from different schools and departments on the IUPUI campus to receive education in environmental health related topics.
